Dexter’s Story

Dexter is a long-haired, miniature, piebald dachshund born March 15, 2010 in Miami, Florida.

When his original owner moved abroad, he became available for adoption. That’s when he met Shelby, a 10-year-old girl from Atlanta, Georgia, who was obsessed with all things dachshund!

Dexter the Dachshund is a real-life story of how this sassy and stubborn little guy continues to learn — and teach others— the value of resilience.
